Funding Advice
You've got a project with potential, but how do you raise money for it?
The good news is that there is thousands of funders, large and small looking for worthwhile initiatives to support.
However, the competition is strong with countless good causes chasing a finite pot of money. To be successful you have to find out what's out there, make your case and stand out from the crowd.
Your search for funding is likely to take you to one of three areas:
charitable trusts | government programmes including lottery funding |
the private sector
Whatever type of funder you approach, you will need to tell them:
- what you want to achieve
- how you plan to do it
- why they should support you
- convince them that you will spend the money cost effectively
CAfE also runs training to help you to access funding successfully, and has its very own funding database.
Our monthly e-news also features funding - alerting you to any new funders. In some cases we can feature your project to increase your coverage and attract funding.
